We have created this website to provide you with information about our villa (named 'Vivenda Fleau e Pleuntje' after our daughters) which was a gift from the second president of Portugal to his daughter in 1930 and which was aquired and fully renovated/constructed by us 80 years later.
This beautiful villa, originally built under architecture is located on a magnificent spot just 50 meters from the beach of Praia da Rocha/Portimao.
It is very suitable to home groups to a max of 12 persons. With the villa comes a host (Rui) who is at your disposal all the time. Here you have everything close by: beach, restaurants, bars and shops just around the corner and you are in the middle of the beautiful Algarve.
The modern possibilities of describing a villa in Portugal are numerous, just look at this website. But should you have any questions or remarks please call us, we have become addicted to Portugal in general and more specific the Algarve and we would be pleased to transfer this harmless addiction to you too.
In the course of a couple of years we have aquired some appartments and this villa, each time we have focused on top locations and top objects after which we started the renovations to adapt everything to our own high standards.
Our idea of a holiday 'place to stay' is somewhat different from average. We offer a house or appartment with a level of finish that we ourselves would want to live in permanently. That is our reference.
The furnishing was partially aquired locally but mainly shipped in from Holland, the renovation was supervised by a dutch architect. The villa was built under strict architecture and we wanted to preserve all that but also adapt the place to modern life.
